May 21, 2008 — Mary Margaret "Mo" Ogburn, a shareholder at Blanco Tackabery & Matamoros, P.A., has been elected to the North Carolina Bar Association Business Law Section Council. She will serve a three-year term, from July 1, 2008 through June 30, 2011. Mo concentrates her practice in the areas of business law and intellectual property, including helping clients structure various entities, purchase and sell businesses, acquire and finance commercial real estate, draft and negotiate numerous types of business agreements, trademark registration, copyright protection, computer systems development and e-commerce. Mo received her B.S. (with High Honors) from North Carolina State University, and her M.S. (Statistics and Computing) and J.D. from Duke University.
