Affordable Housing Law

We have represented clients throughout the southeast in all areas of affordable housing. We have substantial experience representing clients in connection with low-income housing tax credit projects and historic tax credit projects, and we have represented clients in connection with all aspects of affordable housing tax-exempt bond projects.  In addition, for over twenty years, we have represented clients in their dealings with the Department of Housing and Urban Development, including multifamily and elderly HUD-insured projects throughout North Carolina, South Carolina and Virginia, and HOPE VI projects in North Carolina and Virginia. We have counseled clients in connection with various other sources of affordable housing funding, including the HOME Investment Partnership program, the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program, Trust Fund programs and Rural Development loans.
