Charlton D. Hunley

Charlton focuses on a corporate/transactional practice, representing and counseling business entities and their principals throughout all phases of their business from formation through sale, divestiture or dissolution. Charlton has represented and counseled clients on such matters as operating agreements, shareholder agreements, asset acquisitions and sales, ownership acquisitions and sales, mergers and third-party agreements in connection with business operations. He has also represented and counseled clients concerning transactions in the areas of commercial law, commercial finance (lenders and borrowers), and commercial real estate, as well as in the area of debt and equity raises, including drafting Private Placement Memoranda and related documents for Regulation D (Rule 506) offerings.

Charlton maintains a relationship-based practice, believing that the best and most effective way to serve his clients is developed over time by getting to know and understand each client’s unique needs.

With over 20 years of experience in the practice of law, Charlton joined Blanco Tackabery in 2012. Charlton’s experience encompasses a broad spectrum of practice areas, including corporate/transactional, financial services, commercial law, estate planning and administration, tax and civil litigation. He also has experience in all levels of State Court and the Federal Bankruptcy Court.
