Morgan M. Insley

Morgan primarily practices in the Trusts and Estates Practice Group, assisting clients with their estate planning, probate, and related needs. She also has experience with business formation, corporate counseling, and real estate transactions, and she is licensed to practice law in both North Carolina and South Carolina. Morgan rejoined Blanco Tackabery in 2022.

Prior to rejoining the firm, Morgan handled complex trust planning and real estate transactions for two other firms in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina. She has prepared trusts, wills, powers of attorney, and various other estate planning instruments to fit a wide variety of client situations as well as negotiated and refined real estate-related documents like co-tenancy agreements, contracts, and leases. Morgan is dedicated to offering guidance to clients going through the emotional and complex probate process as well as advising clients on strategies to avoid probate for their own estate plans.

Morgan received her J.D. from the Charlotte School of Law, graduating fourth in her class, and her B.A. from the Honors College at the College of Charleston, graduating cum laude. During law school, she was selected to intern for Justice Paul Newby of the North Carolina Supreme Court and was a member of the Law Review, Phi Delta Phi legal honors association, and the Order of the Crown.
