R. Daniel Johnson

Daniel joined Blanco Tackabery in 2022 and is working with the Renewable Energy Financing and Development Practice Group. He works with clients to close tax credit equity investments, as well as development, construction and permanent debt financing, on both a project-level and back-leverage basis, using multiple deal-structures, for projects that produce multiple gigawatts of clean electricity across the country. Daniel has experience with permitting, environmental and enforceability opinions regarding transactions governed by North Carolina law, and enforceability opinions governed by New York law.

Daniel also works with clients on corporate structuring and formation that involves entity transfers, authorization and limited liability company document drafting. His work in corporate law enables entities to work with financing parties to secure investment and debt financing.
