Aimee L. Ezzell

Aimee joined Blanco Tackabery in 2025 and practices in the firm’s Commercial Real Estate Practice Group and Renewable Energy Financing and Development Practice Group. Her work focuses on zoning, land use, and environmental matters, helping clients address regulatory and development challenges.

Aimee received her B.A. from Wake Forest University, where she graduated summa cum laude with Honors in English in 1995. She received her J.D. from Yale Law School in 2001. After completing a clerkship on the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals, Aimee practiced with a litigation boutique in San Francisco, California. She returned to Wilmington, North Carolina in 2004, where she worked for over ten years in areas ranging from zoning and land use, to mediation, to general contract and commercial litigation. In 2015, she joined a global law firm in Washington, D.C., where her work focused on assisting financial services firms, consumer reporting agencies, and financial technology companies with regulatory, compliance, and enforcement matters. Aimee’s diverse experience allows her to approach each client’s needs with practical and effective solutions.
