Blanco Tackabery is proud to announce that Elizabeth Foley has been appointed to the North Carolina Housing Finance Agency Board of Directors. The 13-member board oversees the operations of the North Carolina Housing Finance Agency. The Governor, Speaker of the N.C. House of Representatives and President of the N.C. Senate each appoint four members. These 12 appointees elect the thirteenth member. Elizabeth is Counsel in the Affordable Housing Practice Group.

Shareholder Elliot Fus was installed as president of the Forsyth County Bar Association and the 21st Judicial District Bar on July 14, 2014.  He will serve a one-year term as the head of the Bar for the Winston-Salem area. Fus has previously served in several officer positions with the county Bar association and previously also served as Chair of the Ethics & Grievance Committee for the county Bar.

The award was presented at the 15^th annual Women in Business Awards ceremony and luncheon, which attracts over 300 business and civic leaders as well as previous year’s winners.  Ashley is a Shareholder, Chair of the Bankruptcy Practice Group and member of the Firm’s Management Committee.
