All associates are hired with the expectation that they will become future shareholders, if that is their goal. We offer associates the opportunity to develop the skills, experience, and ethics to practice law well and to take on the responsibility, self-discipline and sense of urgency necessary to serve our clients exceptionally.
Each new associate is assigned a mentor as a source of substantive guidance and moral support. The firm encourages associates to actively continue their legal education and allocates significant resources to use in this pursuit.
From time to time, the firm may hire an experienced attorney to be a shareholder, or to work in a non-shareholder capacity (such as Counsel) that is appropriate for the attorney’s experience and skill level. We welcome inquiries from talented prospects looking to make a lateral career move.
Blanco Tackabery employs a staff of non-attorney employees including paralegals, legal assistants, billing and bookkeeping personnel and other staff positions and periodically has positions available.
