Veterans Helping Veterans Heal (VHVH) hosted its annual golf tournament at Reynolds Park Golf Course in Winston Salem, NC. Blanco Tackabery was proud to sponsor a team, and our attorneys had a great time playing in this year’s event.
VHVH serves the homeless veteran community within Forsyth County through empowering programming that provides valuable skills, education and confidence to help them rebuild their lives. The National Black Theatre Festival begins Monday, August 1st in North Carolina’s city of arts and innovation, Winston-Salem! This celebration of spirit includes over 130 dynamic performances by professional Black theatre companies from around the world. The collection of performances includes new works and Black classics ranging from workshops and films to a star-studded celebrity gala.
The National Black Theatre Festival® (NBTF) is the international outreach program of the North Carolina Black Repertory Company (NC Black Rep), Winston-Salem, NC. The festival was founded in 1989 by the Late Larry Leon Hamlin and is produced by the North Carolina Black Repertory Company.

Peter is an involved member of our community, formerly serving on the UNCSA Foundation Board of Directors for six years before joining the board of trustees in 2021. He has also served on the board of directors of Leadership Winston-Salem, Habitat for Humanity of Forsyth County, Trellis Supportive Care and the Southeastern Center for Contemporary Art (SECCA).
